We will be using an electronic textbook for whis course, which is available here. I recommend that you read as much of it as possible, and try out as man of the exercises as possible. On occasion, I will cover material in more detail than in the book, or cover different material altogether. When this happens, I will write up and post notes on this site. Here is a list of other resources on linear algebra:

• Paul’s Online Math notes has tutorials covering a fair amount of undergraduate mathematics, including Linear Algebra. He doesn’t go quite as far as I intend to go in this course, but there are notes and exercises about all the basic stuff.
• Wolfram Alpha is an online computer algebra system which can do matrix algebra.
